We are looking for a part-time Operations Assistant for our Milan office, who is keen to learn within a fast-paced environment. You will be working within the Operations Team of Packaging Première, managing materials, equipment and online platforms, providing on-site support for exhibitors and staff, supporting the exhibitors via mail and over the phone before the event, ensuring all operational details align with the event plan, assisting with setting up and dismantling booths.
This role requires you to work from our Milan office 5 days a week, with the opportunity to work from home 2 days a week after the completion of a 3 months probationary period.
Skills and attributes required are:
- Native Italian speaker or near-native level (C2 or equivalent)
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills
- Impeccable customer service and problem-solving skills
- Ability to hit deadlines and work under pressure
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Competence in Microsoft Office products including ability to use Excel
Responsibilities will also include:
- Assisting exhibitors with their pre-show and on-site needs
- Point of contact for exhibitor & their stand and show queries
- Liaising with exhibitors to ensure all receive the highest level of customer service pre-show, onsite and post-show
- Management of exhibitor manuals and relative documentation
- Regular floorplan and exhibitor list audits
- Supporting the operations team pre-show and on-site during the show
